April Homework for May
Practicum A (you have 3 classes to teach to the public before training is complete— for next month have at least one more complete).  If you are having a hard time finding a public group to teach to — you have the opportunity to practice Seva by teaching our Karma Yoga class last two weekends in May, Sunday’s 5:00 - 6:15 p.m. open to the public and you can invite family and friends.  

Next session teaching (3 of 5 classes to teach in the presence of Lead Instructor)
Practicum A— 15 to 20 minutes class teaching — demonstrate your knowledge of the following:  Starting in Tadasana
3 - 5  Full Sun Salutations — add at least one variety of a standing pose after sun salutation A
2 - 3 seated poses (practice mirroring your students)
2 supine poses
The use of:  2 sanskrit words, 1 mudra, block or blocks somewhere in the sequence
End with a restorative posture
Closing blessing to include OM practice

Bhagavad Gita:
CHAPTER 5 - 9

The Key Muscles of Yoga Volume 1:  Read Chapter 21, 22, 23 for your own understanding

July:
Schedule in your final full class for Friday or Saturday.
4 will teach Friday, 5 on Saturday.  Invite your family and friends!  I will open this to the public as free yoga classes in celebration of our graduating teachers.
Friday:  3 - 4, 4:15 - 5:15, 5:30 - 6:30, 6:45 - 7:45
Saturday:  10:30 - 11:30, 11:45 - 12:45, 1 - 2, 2:15 - 3:15
Sunday:  Hike, lunch, final celebration, and certificates
